Process information: The
gouging process with
graphite electrodes combines the effect
of an electric arc with that
of a jet of compressed air, using
special electrodes and
special pliers in conjunction with
a direct current source. The action of the
electric arc, together with that of the
jet of compressed air, allows the
cutting, milling and gouging of the most diverse
materials. These are
common steel, cast iron,
stainless steel, armored steel,
copper, brass and other alloys.
Supplied complete with swivel cable 600 A,
for carbon electrodes from 4.0-13 mm O.
