The technological know-how comes from the chemical nanotechnology, but without the use of nanoparticles: the uvex nano shoe add on impregnation makes the surface of the shoe so smooth that liquids simply roll off. Nevertheless, the look and breathability of the impregnated material remain unchanged, whether on suede, smooth leather or textile upper materials applied.
