As an ideal complement to Tyvek® protective clothing, Tyvek® accessories can help to provide even better protection for particularly exposed parts of the body. Tyvek® protective clothing and accessories are made from very fine, continuous filament spun high-density polyethylene, which offers an ideal combination of protection, durability and comfort. Tyvek® 500 is air and water vapor permeable and is repellent to water-based liquids and spray mist. It offers a very high barrier against fine particles and fibers with a size of more than one micron, is extremely low in lint and has an antistatic finish. No added silicone. Typical areas of application: handling pharmaceuticals, chemical protection, lead and asbestos disposal, general maintenance work, spray painting, general cleaning work and much more. ÜSA category I.
