The self-braking abseil device I'DS is primarily intended for work at height and for areas that are difficult to access. It has an ergonomically shaped lever, with which the abseiling process can be conveniently controlled. The integrated anti-panic function and the safety lock reduce the risk of accidents in the event of an operating error. The AUTO-LOCK system allows the user to position themselves at the workstation without having to operate the lever and tie off the device. After blocking, the rope can be pulled in without operating the lever. The safety clip makes it possible to leave the device attached to the harness when inserting the rope. The I'D S descender is suitable for ropes with a diameter of 10 to 11.5 mm and enables loads of up to 250 kg to be handled.
