As a complement to Tyvek® protective clothing, Tyvek® accessories can help to provide even better protection for particularly exposed parts of the body. Tyvek® protective clothing and accessories are made from very fine, continuous filament spun high-density polyethylene, which offers an ideal combination of protection, durability and comfort. Tyvek® is air and water vapor permeable and repels water based liquids and spray mist. It offers a very high barrier against fine particles and fibers with a size of more than one micron, is extremely low in lint and has an antistatic finish. No added silicone. Typical areas of application: handling pharmaceuticals, chemical protection, lead and asbestos disposal, general maintenance work, spray painting, general cleaning work and much more. Certified according to Regulation (EU) 2016/425 partial body protection, category III, type PB [6]. EN 14126 (protective clothing against infectious agents). Antistatic finish (EN 1149-1).
